Our Construction Management Plan
This is our Construction Management Plan, approved by Tendring District Council. Phase 1 of the container terminal planning permission has been implemented, works commenced in 2022.
The next Phase of the project will be the commencement of the marine works which includes the reclamation of 65 hectares of intertidal area and the construction of the quay wall. In addition, a further 4 hectares of intertidal area will be dredged for a small boat harbour to accommodate moorings that would be displaced from within and adjacent to Bathside Bay due to the works.
