FERRY TERMINAL

  • Harwich International Reception Desk, located on the first floor of the Ferry Passenger Terminal (accessible by a lift from the car park).

FOOT PASSENGER CHECK-IN, EMBARKATION AND PARKING PROCEDURES

The park and pay car park for passengers using rail and ferry facilities at Harwich International Port is accessed via ANPR controlled barriers (registration plate recognition).  This is a ticketless system.  Payment can be made at the machine (located near the lift in the car park) before rejoining your vehicle at time of departure.  No cash accepted.

Disabled parking bays for short or long-stay parking can be found at the entrance of the Ferry Terminal. You can take the lift to the Ferry Terminal for check-in.

TOILETS

Unisex disabled toilet facilities are available on the first floor of the Ferry Terminal and the Departure Lounge after passing through controls.

WHEELCHAIRS AND FACILITIES

Wheelchairs can be made available by Harwich International upon request. Please see the list of contact points above if you need assistance.

All our terminal buildings and walkways offer level or ramped access points, at entrances and exits.

CRUISE TERMINAL

If you require help or assistance in this location, please ask at the following contact points:

  • The Cruise Terminal Information Desk
  • Harwich International Reception Desk, located on the first floor of the Ferry Passenger Terminal
  • Directly through your travel operator

PARKING

Trained staff are available to assist you and provide a wheelchair if needed.

You can drive directly to the Cruise Terminal for drop-offs, and your vehicle can be parked for you if necessary. Please arrange for this service with your tour operator before leaving home.

WHEELCHAIRS AND FACILITIES

Wheelchairs are available at the Cruise Terminal. Wheelchair-friendly ramps are fitted on all split-levels in the building.

All walkways leading to cruise ships are wheelchair-friendly, to provide easy access to your ship.

TOILETS

Unisex disabled toilets can be found at the Cruise Terminal.

CAR TERMINAL

If you require help or assistance at the car terminal, please ask at the following contact points:

  • The motorist check-in booths
  • Directly through your travel operator.

On request, we can place you in a separate lane to other vehicles. This will enable you to board the ship first and for your vehicle to be placed next to one of the lifts on the Car Decks.

TOILETS

Unisex disabled toilet facilities are available before and after check-in at the Car Terminal.
