The Park and Pay car park
The Park and Pay car park for passengers using rail and ferry facilities at Harwich International port is accessed via ANPR (registration plate recognition) controlled barriers.
This is a ticketless system. Payment should be made at the machine before rejoining your car at time of departure. No cash accepted.
Car Parking Charges:
- Up to 30 minutes – free of charge
- Up to 2 hours – £1.80
- Up to 6 hours – £3.50
- Up to 12 hours – £5.30
- Daily rate (24hr period) – £8.60
Please note that this car park is not intended for use by cruise passengers.
Electric Vehicle points are located in the Park and Pay Car Park and at the Car Hall area.
Train
Rail passengers can use Harwich International Station, adjacent to the ferry and cruise terminals. There are regular service connections to London (70 minutes) and to other UK destinations.

CRUISE PARKING
Passengers departing from Harwich on cruise ships should follow signage to the designated car park. Under normal circumstances, staff will be available within the car park to direct you and provide assistance with your baggage. A courtesy bus is provided to make the short (5 minute) transfer to the cruise terminal.
