FERRY TERMINAL
If you require help or assistance in this location, please ask at the following contact points:-
• Harwich International Port Reception Desk, located on the first floor of the Ferry Passenger Terminal (accessible by a lift from the short and long stay car park.
• Directly through your travel operator.
Foot Passenger Check-in, Embarkation and Parking Procedures
Disabled Parking bays for short or long stay parking can be found at the entrance of the Ferry Terminal. You can take the lift to the Travel Centres for check-in.
Tickets for the car park are issued by machine on entry. The parking fee is payable on return at the pay machines located in the Arrivals Hall and the Car Park. If you are unable to operate the pay machine a member of staff will be happy to help. The entrance and exit ticket machines and the two pay machines have help buttons.
Toilets
Unisex disabled toilet facilities are available on the first floor of the Ferry Terminal and the Departure Lounge after passing through controls.
Wheelchairs and Facilities
Please see list of contact points above who will be available to help. Wheelchairs can be made available by Harwich International Port upon request.
There are level or ramped access points at entrances and exits to all our terminal buildings and walkways.
CRUISE TERMINAL
If you require help or assistance in this location, please ask at the following contact points:-
• At the Cruise Terminal Information Desk.
• Harwich International Port Reception Desk, located on the first floor of the Ferry Passenger Terminal.
• Directly through your travel operator.
Parking
Trained and helpful staff are available to assist you and provide a wheelchair if needed. You are also able to drive directly to the Cruise Terminal for drop-offs and your vehicle can be parked for you if necessary. Please arrange for this service with your tour operator before leaving home.
Wheelchairs and Facilities
Ample wheelchairs are available at The Cruise Terminal. In addition, wheelchair-friendly ramps are fitted on all split-levels in the building.
The walkways leading to cruise ships are also wheelchair friendly to provide easy access to your ship.
Toilets
Unisex disabled toilets are found at the Cruise Terminal.
CAR TERMINAL
If you require help or assistance in this location, please ask at the following contact points:-
• At the Motorist Check-in booths.
• Directly through your travel operator.
On request we are able to place you in a separate lane to other vehicles, this will enable you to board the ship first and for your vehicle to be placed next to one of the lifts on the various Car Decks.
Toilets
Unisex disabled toilet facilities are available before and after check-in at the Car Terminal.
