Harwich International Port is a member of the Source East programme, the East of England's electric vehicle recharging network.
There are two electric charging points at Harwich International Port and these are located in the Passenger Pay and Display Car Park. There is no charge for the electricity used; however, normal car parking charges apply.
Gaining access to the network of charging points could not be simpler; register with Source East, pay an annual fee and you will then receive your card in the post. This card allows you to unlock any Source East charging point to charge your vehicle at no additional cost (parking charges may apply).
The Source East Network will be located at supermarkets, on residential streets, outside local businesses, railway stations and car parks all over the East of England. They will also be focussed in hot-spots in and around Bedford, Luton, Cambridge, Ipswich, Norwich, Peterborough, Hertfordshire, Thames Gateway, South Essex and London Stansted Airport.
