DFDS Seaways make 3 to 4 weekly crossings from Harwich to Esbjerg, situated on the west coast of Denmark.

The route is serviced by a brand new Ro-pax ferry “Dana Sirena” which made its first call at Harwich on 17th June 2003. “Dana Sirena” has three car decks with a capacity of 2,510 lane metres or 166 lorries and a service speed of 22.5 knots.

The introduction of the “Dana Sirena” on the Esbjerg service by DFDS has reduced the crossing time on this route by 2 hours. The ferry provides capacity for 600 passengers and has 196 cabins. Foot passengers and motorists alike are able to relax in the comfort of this modern, luxurious ferry. During the busy summer period the number of sailings is increased to offer a departure every other day.
